2023 4-H Commemorative Coin

On behalf of the Grand Traverse County Youth Leaders Association and School Stores LLC  I would like to congratulate you on the hard work and determination that helped you reach this point. This coin is a gift that not only rewards you for your efforts but will remind you of the joy and struggle every time you look at it.  

These coins are individually numbered (1-500) and features each animal on the front along with my personal design on the back. Each year we plan to cycle through the animals on the front and have a 4-H member design the back. You will also find the initials of three individuals that were closely involved it’s design. 

We currently have 500 coins available that are first come first serve. 4-H member must be present to receive a coin.

Unfortunately there is not enough coins for every member as the original concept for the coin was discarded months before the fair.  We are currently working on the “story behind the coin” which will explain our original intentions and how it ended up where it is today. With your help we hope to grow this new concept to not only a gift to our hard working 4-Hers but also provide a fundraising opportunity that will make it available to everyone.
